Another glorious clear morning here , and a lovely steady Easterly breeze brought in some nice steady air too ... 

Shot 100 , used 53 .... 

1000D + ED80Pro + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + OIII.

1/400s @ ISO 200 , 53/100 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

My wife's just gone out for the day, rugby not 'til 1.00pm so thought I'd bag some pics of the sun. Had a quick look before I set up the camera and thought not much to see. Then I saw your effort, Steve. Definitely won't bother now!

How quickly will that large AR move to a more central position?

The large one on the right is on its way out of sight , the smaller one at the 8 'o' clock position will be central in about three days . . .

Very nice, Steve The air was a bit unsteady our way this morning, with a few fast moving clouds around. Hoping to grab a mosaic this afternoon if the clouds are having a siesta.

What a difference an hour makes - very nice and sharp (but boiling all over the place by 10.00!).

Time will tell but there looks suspiciously like something nice just starting to distort the limb at about 8 'o' clock .....   .... could just be wishful thinking but there's a very bright AR showing in the other SDO sets too .

A super crisp image it took till after lunch on Sunday for the cloud to shift for me, then the seeing was awful!
