Hi,

Wanted to share this image, probably one of the most striking of this type of object - galaxy cluster in Perseus.

Point out to the galaxy in the left - it's ngc 1275 with it unusual plumes, mostly revealed in Ha which I did not image though:

Thats a stunning image! Nice capture.

Personally I think the stars a bit bright and I think if they were processed to be a bit dimmer it would help make the galaxies stand out even more. This is an artistic suggestion not that your processing was in any way wrong. You did a very good job at that.

It's an amazing picture I think.  Be interested to know how Mark did it with the two scopes....  I fancy a go at imaging one of these remote Abell clusters as well.  I was going to do Abell 1656, 1357 and 2151 over the summer but it was a no go due to high cloud where I live. Maybe with this particular Abell in Perseus and high up in Autumn/Winter it is doable....
