17,000 observing sessions!

Not me. David Levy. There is an article in this months Astronomy magazine about David Levy's observing log. He says that he has clocked up 17,000 sessions in 57 years. That's nearly 300 sessions per year, every year for 57 years!! Even if he counts solar day sessions as a separate session (which I'm sure he must do), that's a lot of observing. I probably average 3 or 4 sessions a month. That's why he discovers comets and I don't!
