I have a perm mount and use"the sky" mosaic function to do the pointing and slewing with about a 50% overlap, some might think its overkill but it helps eliminate the sweet spot effect

It's the sweet spot effect that's making sensor choice a bit of a problem - nothing wrong with a generous overlap especially if it makes the processing easier...

At the moment I am using the LOHA (PBK's the scopes "creators" acronym so I think I will use than from now on) on the EQ3-Pro on the pier outside the obs... It's a bit marginal especially is there's a breeze...

I would need to make another pier adaptor to fit the EQ6 instead...or some type of adaptor to use it on the combined pier and wedge in the obs (where the SCT used to live)...
