Fortuitous break today , was just on my way out of the door when the neighbour asked why I wasn't getting ready for the patch of blue in front of the bank of black cloud rapidly approaching ....

I'd written off today after seeing the forecast and wasn't paying attention ...

Quickly set up and grabbed 12 crispies before the rain started ...

1000D + ED80Pro + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + OIII.

1/500s @ ISO 200 , 12/12 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

Always had a reputation , but I think they're kinda getting on-side now , even had a new arrival 2 doors down come round to say that she was sorry for leaving a security light on the other night , next door had put her in the picture ...

Nice work Steve. We have been treated to an occasional thinning of the cloud cover today but that's about as good as it's been. Looks promising for tomorrow though.

Apart from the shower I got just after the shoot it's been dry all day here , been working outside in the garden under baking sunshine for 4 hours . . . . . . just started spitting again about ten minutes ago.

Was going to grab a second image but thought that might be rubbing it in a bit ....
