Picture 1 and 4 are just breathtaking. As is 8.

I would love to know how they get these shots together, i think i read that picture 8 was an hours exposure, but that was on the Daily Mail i think. Would love to be able to take photos like that.

Looking again, i think number 8 looks a bit 'over processed'. Taking nothing from the image because it is an awesome image. But i think a bit less striking would look better, imo.

I too like the Durdle Door image, partly because it's somewhere I'm familiar with. Eta Carina is very nice, too.

I like Mike Sidonio's Carina nebula (4). Also, haven't we seen Andre van der Hoeven's picture (11) in the deep sky section? It's an awesome HST palette.
