A long lazy day today , sitting under a dark grey blanket waiting for a gap . . .

Eventually two tiny bits of blue drifted by , nailed the framing and focus in the first and just managed to grab 25 frames in the second , stacked just 8 ... !

Still no new AR's to see . . .

I hope so . . .

I'm doing an outreach demo day at A10 Optical , there's a Fete/Funday in Southery so we're setting up a few scopes , Whitelight through mine and Ha with a couple of PST's and a Modded ED80.

I'm going to be doing my imaging from there and showing the processing side too , weather permitting ...

It looks good from what I can see; the glare on my laptop screen is making it hard to view!

I've had the scope out ( still out ) imaging the Sun. Since there's only that one nice Sun spot, I've been having a go at imaging the nice faculae on the East and West. I started with the DSLR, and got a nice result stacking 78 out of 100 frames. Switched to the webcam next, and now imaging Mercury and Venus.
