4-pane Moon mosaic with ASI120MM

Hi,

Two days ago I had a short period of clear sky, and I thought I will try my ASI120MM mono camera on the Moon. First the AVI-s were taken on a Skywatcher Black Diamond 150mm reflector in direct focus using Firecapture Beta, I was impressed that his camera can pull off 30 frames/s at full resolution ( 1280x960 ) !

I stacked and waveletted the AVI-s in Registax 6, the mosaic was created in Microsoft ICE. Next time I will go for a barlow mosaic, but the seeing was very turbulent that evening.

Thank you, I have processed a second, 2-part mosaic which was taken with the same camera ans scope but with a 2x Orion barlow.

Very nice images. I definitely think I prefer mono camera images to DSLR. Shame the mono sensor is so much smaller...

Good image. Very sharp! On my monitor, I do see some jpeg artefacts (blocks) in the dark side of the moon.
