My personal best at Jupiter

This is my best Jupiter shot to date. I can not recall the magnification I was using but the picture was generated with my cheapo point and shoot camera in movie mode in conjunction with my 6" Dob. This is what Registax gave me.

Very nice one. You could do a histogram stretch (I use Gimps "curves features to do that manually) to increase contrast and brightness

Tell you what Chris for a point & shoot that's pretty good, i used to try with my Iphone but the lens is so tiny i gave up so you should be very happy with that shot well done.
