Some More Re-Processed Solar from 2012

Hi

I've still not had chance to get out and image this year so here are some more re-processed images that I managed to capture last year. I don't think that I've posted many of these previously and due to trying different processing techniques I've managed to tease out some more detail in the couple that I had originally posted so thought I'd share them.

All taken using the Lunt LS60 + DMK21/41 and some also using a x2 barlow in the mix.

To make your cut border a little less harsh, once you have selected your surface shot, try Select - modify - Smooth (25) and Feather (5) before moving it to your prom picture. I can't remember the exact numbers I use as I am at work but I think it is this, or it could be 25 for both.

The filament figure was taken from the Nasa website at the time of capture so presumed it was correct.

Hahaha, just noticed the 500 million, was supposed to read 500,000 wooops = half a million km!
