A Horse, an Iris and a Galaxy

Had a great night on Saturday, full 8 hours of imaging with no guiding problems, no clouds and no work in the morning, these are rare events indeed :)

First attempt at NGC7023, and it proved to be a tricky beast, think the nearly full moon didn't help much. Also had a stab at the Horse Head in Ha and M33, again M33 had the moon to contend with. The Horse though had the moon almost on top of it but the Ha just cut straight through :)

Also got a nice pic of IO passing behind Jupiter but thats not for this thread ;)

Here is the fruits of my evenings work.

Thanks everyone, I think M33 is my favourite, I have tried it before with limited success so this time got plenty of subs and made sure i had good guiding.

The Horse Head was a bit of an experiment to see how well the Ha filter worked with a nearly full moon close by and I think it did well, just need a moonless night to compare too now :).

The Iris was a first for me, not sure what it needs to get the dark nebulosity to stand out more, seen some impressive shots of this on here.
