I have 3 of these flight cases with a mix of dlsr, ep's and guide camera - great value for money imo.

Bought one today. I also already have the set of 3 different size ones, plus the large 50 quid high impact case for my HEQ5 mount head unit. I thought I would pop into Dunn Elm Mill while I was there and get some black felt to line it nicely. Even though I spent a couple of hours pinching out the foam and trimming the felt to size, as soon as I applied the spray adhesive, it became a right pain to manipulate, hence the creases. Still looks better with than without I think though.

The felt would certainly mean that the pluck foam would not keep being plucked in use..

The newer maplin ABS cases are a lot more robust so if your actually after a decent level of protection rather than just a storage box then go for them instead...

I use the ally flight cases for storage in the house and ABS ones when I take selected kit out into the field...

They used to do this case with diced foam (MMMM.....diced foam).

You can get one off fleabay for about another £5. These cases are excellent.

I picked up the larger one at a boot fair for £3, it holds the HEQ5 mount.
