This planetary does look like its name and the two ansae are easily imaged tipped with red light. It is 4-5,000 lyrs away with cenral star mag 11.5.

UHC-60min in 2.56sec subs.

RGB-7.5min each in 2.56sec subs.

Beautiful image. I got NGC 7009 through Olly's 20" last year (on the night I completed the Messier list!). Magnificent visually, stunning photographically.
