I put mine on a simple alt az mount and I love it for grab and go moon, planet and solar viewing. Not much cop for deep sky though, you need something else for that.

It's ok for deep sky. Not stunning, but not appalling either.

Great scope at a good price. Doesn't look like any eyepieces will come with it either though.

I wouldn't mind it for planetary imaging. Don't need mount - got that - don't want EPs - AP only. Don't want the finder scope either really - got one of those already.

I have one and its been great. Just the conditions have not been ideal since I've had it. If you can get one that tracks though as otherwise it would be a nightmare to keep anything in view at hign magnifications.....
