Thats really very nice, great star shapes for the exp times - tracking on the EQ5 is hit and miss I've found, (I only get 30sec atm but intend to get better at it), and your M51 is a definite hit. :)

Hats off to you comrade - I too attempted guided results on this object with an EQ5 and 200mm newtonian and we prove it can be done :-)

The big difference with your results is that you've done this with an unmodded dslr?! Very good and a shot worth a revisit for even more data.

Good luck balancing that EQ5 with the big newt on it - and keep the faith har har!

David
