Very good. Did you use a webcam????? In my Avatar pic I have a crecent moon as well. Took it on the first night when I got my 127 SLT. Although I just put the lens of my compact digital camara to the eyepiece of the scope and as a first attempt I was very pleased. I would love to get into astrophotography though. Will get a webcam and attachments at some point I think.

No not a webcam a dslr was used in prime.

I see you use a maplin 3 in 1 jump starter. Do I need any leads to attach goto to it ?

Do you mean for power???? If so then yes. This is the one I use:

Also how are you getting on with attaching a big lump like a dslr to something as small as the 127 SLT?. I guess you will have to tinker with the settings to compensate for having something heavy hanging off the back of the ota and no doubt have to tweak the backlash compensation as well?
