I particulary like astroplanner because it has the facility to create custom horizons. I have different horizons for each location (even different parts of the garden) which allows me to plan in advance when certain objects will be visible.

Just registered with Astroplanner superb piece of software a d Paul is very quick answering queries on the AP Yahoo group.

So finally plunked for AstroPlanner. Getting ready for Peak Star Party you see :-)

Mac Win compatibility, can be synced with Dropbox, export list to SkySafari, lots of ready made plans, and many more finally won me over.

On mobile (excuse the strange predictive words...)
