After a blissful if not painful few weeks off work following having my tonsils removed, I have now returned to work and immediately traveled to our Italian office.

So of course today, my new scope decides to arrive after 4 months.

How does this work with the clouds though?

Simple:

No clouds while you are away and the scope is boxed.

Return, unpack the scope, clouds appear for 2 weeks at least.

Going to Italy will not enable you to avoid the clouds, they are patient and will be talking to the Italian clouds at this moment to know what to do.

Marc,

That scope is definitely worth a good witter. Feel free to witter away especially if you include photos..

The sad truth is though, the more desirable a scope the longer the clouds take to go away. Be prepared for quite a wait :)

Marc,

That is beautiful piece of engineering. If it was mine, I'd take it out even if the sky was black with clouds, just to look at it and feel it. Cold shower required..........
