I just seen this on ebay..Nagler 12mm type2 £67.

I was just wondering about the Televue's "Type"

Are there significant differences between each "Type" as in the quality of the optics or is it just the year of production?

as in mark 1 escort and mark 2?

Eye relief is tighter (11mm) on this older design than the replacement type4 (17mm)

It will probably end up around £200

That seller started out with most items having a "buy it now" price that was somewhere between a normal used price and the new price. They seem to have twigged now that they can get more £'s most of the time by using the auction format - especially with Tele Vue stuff

Very little point watching Televue eyepieces on ebay.

People seem to to lose all sense when bidding. Often pay the same or quite a bit more (especially with shipping) than they would have paid new.

I just sold the same eyepiece for 110 pounds and that one on the bay looks exactly like it!
