Hello All,

I have wanted a telescope for since I was a kid. My wife bought me the Meade NG70 for Christmas. Wow. This is amazing. The moon was behind a house, but my backyard has some pretty clear views. I pointed at the brightest star and noticed that it had other tiny dots around it. Later on I discovered that what I saw was Jupiter! It was too bright too make out any of the bands though, which was a bummer.

Well glad to be here and share in some really incredible things!
