Found a link to the free download "Stellarium" somewhere on the forum, can't remember who posted it but thanks.

It's a real eyeopener and a fantastic aid to a newcomer such as myself.

i took a little while to get used to Stellarium as i used to and still do use Meades auto star suite as that is what drove my mount. but i now find myself doing all my planning and on screen looking using Stellarium and just use Auto star for driving the scopes.

those of you who have just began to use it will find the more you use it and what you use it for will enhance the program past and beyond what you have found so far as you have just began to scrape the surface. have fun with it

And do download the Updates for the extra Stars ect. Configuration/Tools section
