All the banter last night about clouds & I kept quiet sat under clear skies, set up waited, got a drink, went out & NO SKY!! - Pictures like this make up for things like that - very nice, more from others please.

Cracking shot Phil!

Last night summed up the agony and ecstasy of astronomy for me - agony when I couldn't see it go, and then more agony :D when there was cloud at the moment of return, but ecstasy when it cleared a minute or two later and I could see Saturn next to the moon (my husband thought it was 'neat' too!)

Took an educated guess Martin and ran three shots either side (different exposure times) to make sure.

Good job I did, as it turned out to be tricky with only one shot useable.

Learned a lot from that...
