7 December 2011 Moon mosaic

Just a small version of the four pane mosaic I took on the 7th Dec. 180 Mak=Cass and Canon 1000D. Each pane around 55 out of 64 JPEG's taken, stacked in Registax5 and finished in PS CS5.

I've only really discovered imaging the moon can produce amazing results like this. And to think, I spend half of each month cursing it being here!

Absolutely! I came to the same conclusion - sort of "if you can't beat them, join them". In this case, if a bright moon makes seeing anything else difficult, take images of the moon. Never any problem of not enough photons!
