Seeing was pretty good-about 7/10 on my scale. Transparency was poor though. A quick process from the first run through of tonights AVIs.

I'm getting well fed up with all these fabulous planetary images, mine are rubbish, and now here comes another smashing image. For goodness sake Nick, bear in mind that some of us are clouded to bits and can't even do the moon tonight.

It is a bit special though, I have to admit. Very jealous here. Keep 'em coming, I need these for inspiration.

I've had another look at the AVIs and, although I can smooth out a bit of the noise, I don't think I can improve much on this one. Don't know about you, but I find the "quick and dirty" process done in the middle of the night often turns out to be the best.

The seeing has been dismal this year. It's only in the last two or three weeks that things have improved.
