  1. Hi Mick👋. Welcome to SGL.
  2. This can’t be for a domestic supply. There must be a neutral to produce a potential difference to produce a voltage. The only supply without a neutral is a three phase supply used mainly in industrial supplies, in which case there would be four wires. The three phases (RBY) and an earth. It’s more likely that the two wires in your supply are not the conventional color code used in the UK ie brown and blue. The Spanish electricity supply is 230v 50Hz. Do you have access to a multimeter?
  3. Is the tingling repeatable? It could just be static you have built up wearing anything acrylic.
  4. I just use a sack barrow to wheel my 12” about easily enough fully assembled.
  5. Welcome to SGL Bobby👋
  6. I found the 28mm Kellner to be seriously lacking in my f5 & 6 scopes. It was usable in my Maksutov.
  7. I could afford one but at around £800 I question whether the slight improvement of the optics justifies the price. I am considering the APM zoom though. I also want a Televue 2.5x Powermate. Want, want, want, that’s the problem.
  8. I’m too scared to look at the current price 😂
  9. I was going on the quality of the optics not on how many were sold. I should have been clearer with my post.
  10. I would say that the most common big three at the moment are 3:- Leica 8.9-17.8mm. 2:- APM 7.8-15.4mm and 1:- the Baader MkIV 8-24mm.
  11. I would go for the 70mm triplet over the 60mm. The Zenithstar is a proven scope so if I were you I would garner some feedback on the optical quality of the 70mm triplet before pulling the trigger. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  12. My main case is for my set of Morpheus eyepieces and I can’t find the heart to dig spaces in this custom case for my various filters etc. So I end up having to take my other case every session. I also have the OCD trait of everything in its place and in order. If I could also apply this principle to my life 🤔
  13. The 12” Stella Lyra dobsonian is approx 61” when vertical on its mount. I state approximately due to mine having longer rubber feet fitted to allow my sack trolley to slide under it. I also have a much thicker roller bearing fitted on the base. HTH.
  14. I have owned both the SVbony zooms in the 9-27 & 7.2-21.6mm as well as the Baader Mk IV. The newer 7.2-21.6x is superior to the 9-27mm. I am now considering buying the newish APM zoom for finding the best focal length for the planets on any particular nights seeing. I do prefer the better optical quality of a standard eyepiece though.
  15. You could buy an offset finder mount to rectify your dec balance problem.
  16. My two cents worth is to pass on the 150mm Heritage and get yourself the 6”(150mm) Ursa Major dobsonian from First Light Optics. It’s a full size dobsonian and a solid tube so no light ingress or shrouds to make. It also has a proper CNC focuser rather than a plastic helical focuser which I found pretty poor. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  17. Too much astro porn for this mere mortals eyes. I’ll be dreaming tonight for sure.
  18. I didn’t see @Ratlet’s question regarding the 30mm SuperView.
  19. I’m not talking about the SuperView. It’s the 24 & 30mm UFF eyepieces I’m talking about.
  20. I’m not talking about the SuperView. It’s the 30 & 24mm UFF.
  21. Only if it’s an older mount without a USB connection.
  22. Thanks for your input. I already have the full set of Baader Morpheus eyepieces and I use the 17.5mm a great deal. I have just ordered the 30mm UFF. I seldom use my ES 24mm x 68 any more. My scopes are FL 2000 SCT & 1500mm 12” dobsonian.
