  2. You sure it wasn't a car head light(only one car head light this is Ireland) as you lay on the floor from too much Guinness

  4. Hi stuu. I was getting dew on my ep's when not in use didn't want to keep putting end caps on and into my case. The ep's I was using more I had on the base of my dob I covered them in a cloth and didn't get any more dew on them before I used them. But living where I am they tend to dew up in the focuser within minutes
  5. Hi stardaze I had a tray with 2 fans in it , for cooling down my laptop I attached hair bungees for no vibrations and use a power pack to keep it running

  13. Hi and welcome to SGL. I must be on the naughty list santa never brings me anything good
  14. It was custom made when I brought the dob,it's very easy to move around stable and no vibrations
  15. I had no problem with the dob being ballanced if the handles aren't to loose a good idea is too put some foam in between the tube and box . A good trolley and ramp would help moving in and out where stored
  16. Hi Ian. I think if your taking it in and out of the house through the front door maybe a collapsible might be better unless you have a trolley or ramps 12" solid tube is heavy. As for cool down maybe a fan will help mine is left in the shed leaving the fan running for a couple of hours, can't help with light pollution I have none
