  1. Yes there's always the odd issue popping up to solve regarding any of the couriers and I wouldn't want to criticise either. Top top work by you all at FLO there.
  2. Thank you Steve, really appreciate all your efforts there, it looks crazy there. Special thanks to Ann today please regarding my star adventurer 2i wifi pro pack order, which didn't arrive on time only to hear it wasn't scanned properly by DHL, hoping it arrives moro now. Can I thank yourself and Ann again for all your updates, emails and patience during the past 4 months of my order. Your all super super stars ✨👏ps I hope you find Rob in there somewhere
  3. I enjoyed it as there were some pieces I had seen before from past series, very informative and quite fresh also, I'm looking forward to the next one.
  4. It's a beautiful scope, I bought one second hand from @mikemabel a few months back when these were like rocking horse poop, I love mine it's a real versatile scope and imaged many many galaxies with mine. I'm going to use mine for the partial solar eclipse with my Canon 600D, to give the best Widefield view without missing anything. Clear skies
  5. Great job there, its looking a special piece of kit now, hope your first light dark night, goes well and gives you improved views, 👍
  6. Here is my second attempt this year at imaging Jupiter with my Skymax 127 az gti and zwo asi120mc-s. The first is using a x2 Barlow and around 3000 frames, top 20‰ stacked in as3, tweaked in registax and ps. Captured in raw8 ser files to try a change from my usual and even though framerate is slower, still get better detail. The Jupiter a moon are 2 images one overexposed to get the moons and the second shorter exposure to get the detail in Jupiter, just pleased to get the 4 moons in this time.
  7. Thank you Pete, very kind of you, much better than last year's offerings already
  8. Thank you Pete, my skymax 127 has a focal length or 1500mm and the zwo asi120mc-s is equivalent to roughly a 6mm ep, no Barlow was used in the making of this image. I have managed to image Saturn again this morning and got to try my x2 Barlow with zwo asi120mc-s & Skymax 127 so will see how it goes.
  9. This is my first time solar imaging. I was having a practice run for the partial solar eclipse on the 10th June, funding with settings and such using my sw 72ed AzGti Canon 600D, fitted with explore scientific white light solar filters to lens and fs, which is what I'll use for the eclipse, I may use the x2 Barlow also but will see. The full disc images are using the Canon 600D and one using a x2 Barlow. The surfaces images are the same scope and a zwo asi120mc-s, stacked in autostakkert 3 a, tweaked in registax and ps. Not the best by any stretch but as long as I can inage the eclipse I'll be happy. Some nice sunspots on the left and bottom of the disc plus a strange feature on the top left limb and maybe a bigger sunspot just past the limb.
  10. It's looking brilliant, you'll get the hang of it with the zwo, it's not and easy thing to msdte at the start as you said with the tight FOV, but you'll get there 🙏
  11. Also as I have done with mine and updated the firmware to the mounting the opposite way and eq mode update. So my scope points in the opposite way to yours here as when I was using the fs on my skymax 127 I was contorting into back breaking positions.
  12. It was me Chris, how can you forget me so easily 😢😂😉 only joking thanks for the reminder though plenty will of missed this gem else, clear skies and good luck for the 7th 👍
  13. Last night was a total waste try to image Jupiter & grs, lovely clear skies at 2pm, so took my skymax 127 az gti and zwo asi120mc-s to a clear southern horizon about 2mins away, then the cloud rolled in just as I was setting up, I did meet Bodes my friendly hedgehog, it did keep coming right up to the tripod, then did grunt at me so think he was annoyed I blocked his path or he was trying to woo me haha, so at least I got a capture of something. 14. I've been reprocessing my image of Saturn taken on 27-5-21 with my Skymax 127 az gti and zwo asi120mc-s, 1000 frame rgb 24 avi file, processed in pipp, as3 and registax. I'm pretty sure if you squint hard enough the cassini division is there. Would raw8 or raw26 be better and ser for planetary imaging, I've had no issues with rgb24 avi and wondered if other is better.
  15. Another good addition to my astro book collection arrived today after a recommendation, I've certainly enough reading material for those cloudy nights, hopefully not tonight as want to image Jupiter grs as it's in view tonight/morning.
  16. Thank you, I'm hoping to image again tonight/morning to capture the GRS this time.
  17. Thank you, just tried a different take on the Lunar image and looked ok, like I living thing.
  18. My bleary eyed offerings of Jupiter and Saturn from early this morning in N.Cornwall Skymax 127 az gti zwo asi120mc-s stacked and tweaked, pleased to get some of Jupiters moons in one if look close enough, will practice more on processing over the weekend to make the moons more visable, but from last years efforts to these so so much better, the AzGti making it so much better. Still 2 months from opposition so hoping to get better images then and one day I'll get to image the GRS, typical it's on view tonight and I'm clouded out here 🙄.... Edit I've reprocessed the Jupiter and moons image and so much better now also with labels
  19. These are my 2 offerings of Luna last night using my sw 72ed AzGti and Canon 600D 38 stacked images iso 100 stacked in registax and tweaked in photoshop. Tried an experiment inverting the image, I think it looks like 70s prog rock band album cover now 👍
  20. I had a celestron scope like that for my first scope and it gave me the bug for astro and never looked back
  21. Thank you, I've had a brief look at it and can see I can control my mount and scope, will look into it more but looks a good buy at £19, not sure I'd pay £40 though. Thank you for the info 👍
  22. Just need to be level, and as said before it'll make polar aligning much easier if level, you'll still be both pointing at the ncp regardless of each others latitude, but a good point well made 👍
  23. I've just bought the sky safari 6 Pro app for £19 got to get used to it now ftom using stellarium on my phone, but looking good so far 👍
  24. It's looking great, once you've polar aligned it will be good and as long as level all ok 👍
  25. No not royal mail but a very lovely bar person, maybe royal mail could take a few pointers though 😉
