    Great, I have my own 3D printer now, and am in the process of learning the design software, amongst other things… BTW I am still using the handle you printed for me some time back, on my TakFSQ85…👍🏼

    I tried NINA a few months ago, and never went back to Kstars, I love it, plus I was having a few issues with drivers in a Ekos so that didn’t help…👍🏼

    There is a lot of stuff that’s only compatible with BETA 2 version, as it’s based on the newer ASCOM, and many drivers had to be updated when BETA 2 came out, so I guess the DSD panel ASCOM driver is one of those that only works with the latest ASCOM….glad it’s sorted…👍🏼

    Yes, I would agree that the latest NINA is a big step up with loads of enhancements on the version you are using, and also it’s based on the newer 6.5 ASCOM, so it may well solve the issue, I am still using ASCOM 6.5 SP1 not dared update to 6.6 as it always causes me issues when I update…😮

    Thanks very much for that, much appreciated, I did wonder about the filter, I think this has been much more of a hinderance, as my last two images have been the Pac-Man and this Heart Nebula and both seem to have shown less data per 5 min sub than I though they would, so have treated myself to the Optolong L-Xtreme should be here soon…. 👍🏼

    Thanks, The moon was not out at this point…also I forgot to add I use an f5.3 scope, 450mm I have done the darks now, and will do the flats and dark flats tomorrow, but think I will get at least another 3 or 4 hours before I fully process…. I just wonder how much useable light the Idas P2 filter blocks, also i do get some vignetting and think it’s from the filter…🤔

    Ok, this is just 3 hours of 5 min subs, no calibration at all, just stacked lights to see what I had… ‘Does it look ok for 3 hours…Mode 1 gain 56…bortle 6 and with Idas P2 LP filter, it’s certainly better…Or should I expect more for 3 hours of data…..🤔

    @vlaiv can you interpreted this figures for me from a recent stack in APP, no calibration frames just the lights, not sure on what the SNR figures are and if they are good or not, this was using Mode 1 and gain 56, 5 min subs.. thanks

    Yes, there is no comparison….☹️ I begin to wonder if my camera is working as it should…or would I get more data like yours with the L-Xtreme filter, and not my IDAS P2 LP filter….🤔

    I’m getting these same issues with my QHY268c, 5 min subs and in High gain mode and gain 56 and barely any data, and I am also wondering if it’s me….I was imaging the Heart nebula, and this was a 5 min sub, I thought it should show much more detail, how does this compare with your OSC subs…?

    Don’t worry about indi web manger, when you run Kstars and Ekos, and create a profile, then click start, it will automatically start the indi server, you should never have to start it manually, it’s just not needed, let Ekos take care of all that…

    That sub says 400 seconds….or is that that wrong…if that is the data you get with a narrowband filter, in 4 mins, then I have something wrong with my camera….☹️

    Well Mode 1 gain 56, does this look ok for 5min sub, with Idas P2 LP filter on, only a screenshot I’m afraid as typing this on my iPad…but does the death look ok for these setting, like what I should expect to see with a minimal stretch in NINA there is not a black area at the top, that is just a shadow from iPad camera…

    Yes it’s clearing nicely ATM, but the big old moon will be appearing around 11 ish for me, so should get a few hours of the Heart Nebula tonight…🤞🤞

    Yes, will be out tonight before the moon appears, and will be using Mode 1 gain 56…and see how it goes…which me luck….😂😂
