  1. Thanks so much for all the replays. I just have one more question. In this chart it says that 2.5x actually magnifys about 2x only. Thanks again for good answers guys!
  2. I just ordered a c11 on neq6. I plan to use this with my zwo 174mm camera for planetary imaging. I know that F30 is best for planetary imaging so I need a 2x barlow. I made up my mind e to go for a powermate but I can't figure it if the 2x or the 2.5x powermate Will be best for me. Of course the 2x will be best but it cost 100euros more than the 2.5x. and the more I read the less I know.. Is there a big difference? The chart at TeleVues website says the magnify the same both of them so if the 2.5x actually just magnifys 2x than ill go for that. But I'd it something I should know? Is it more glass? Or something else that might "damage" the quality of my image? Has anyone actually tried the two and seen for them self if there is a difference? I really hope someone can answer me on this. Because I have used so much money this season on equipment and I really don't want to spend much more than I need now.
  3. I ordered the c11 on a neq6 mount I will use it with ZWO Asi 174mm I only use it for planetary and lunar imaging no visual here. Thanks alot for the help!
  4. Thanks alot for the replay. I have a little carrige with wheels or what you call it. I load up everything on that and I walk with it to my nearest best location. So the size is not that big of a deal for me. So I guess I'll go for the c11. Really hope I can get it home before the season is over. I actually got some of my best views over my neighbors house. But I notice the problem really well.. it's radiating warmth.
  5. Hi guys! I'm gonna buy a new scope. I'm currently owning a SkyMax 180. Wich I use with a 1.6x barlow. This produces nice results Frome time to time. After doing alot of research in aperture I now struggle with the choice. Is it in fact the aperture or the high focal lengths that is responsible for bad seeing? I got my heart set on c11 and the focal length is 2800 contra skymaxen 2700. All help is appreciated.
  6. SkyMax 180 Pro heq5 pro zwo Asi 174mm 1.6x barlow. 4 2minutes sequences deroratet in winjupos. Still having a hard time getting the color right. But I'm very pleased with the sharpness after derotation.
  7. Hey buddy! Than we are in the same boat! I struggle with the focus too. I use a Skywatcher SkyMax 180pro and I have a 1.6X agenda barlow and a ZWO Asi 174mm with ZWO filters and filterwheel. I also have a motorized focuser and a heq5 Pro mount. I use autostakkert 2, registax 6 and Photoshop. My framerate was not high, I don't have USB 3 on my laptop. My next upgrade will be PC and than a guide scope with cam.
  8. My latest capture. Please give feed back so I can get better. Just took a bunch of em and uploaded. The two of Jupiter that are rotated are also deroratet in winjupos.
  9. SkyMax 180 with motorized focuser. Works really well!
  10. I use the ZWO Asi 174mm right now. It's a dream.
  11. I will check the elevation tommorow night. And thanks for the feedback on Wich looks the best.
  12. Wish I'd done more so I could have deroratet. Was a beautiful night. This is only 2min each channel.
  13. Wow! Thanks so much buddy. I just downloaded PS on saturday
  14. Hi guys. Here are some from last night. Hope someone can help me out. I can't seem to get much color in my final images. But anyway, I'm very pleased with the results. The Saturn one is with a 1.6x barlow Jupiter is without barlow.
  15. Wow this is just amazing buddy! this is really good work!
  16. Very nice! But may i ask why you dont use monochrome?
  17. I just rembered I have a few more of Mars, Jupiter And Saturn
  18. Hi! I did not read all the comments. But some really good tips here. But to me it seems as the biggest problem is your seeing. Maby try somewhere else. I used to live near a swamp and that's the kinda pictures i got there. To moist i guess. And the second thing im thinking is that you might try to "zoom" too much? I had to get ride of my 2x barlow and use a 1.6X instead, actually the best pictures i get is without a barlow. I my self also invested in a Revelation Astro focuser and a motor for it, a Zwo 174mm monochrome camera with electric filter wheel and filters. This also helped me.
  19. Amazing shot! Really good!
