  1. Jupp it's the right distance. I at least think it is. It should be 64mm to get 2x. And as we talked about I should be at little more than that since I'm using the 174mm camera, so I added one more spacer. And the total got to 74mm I'm no math genius but it's at least a little more than 2x If you can weigh in on this it will be much appreciated:)
  2. Hi guys. It's one thing I need to know. Is the placement of the barlow according to the filterwheel important? I have placed the spacer in my baader vip behinded the filter wheel now. And the lens is in thw nosepice on the other side of the filterwheel. Most pictures I see of setups, the barlow or spacers are infront of the filterwheel.
  3. So by doing this I can capture longer on each channel?? If that is true than that is so cole! Why don't more people do that??
  4. Hmm that's nice. But is that image than rescaled? I use the same barlow. But I got I sett at about 2x.
  5. Great shot buddy! Is it 2x barlow?
  6. Yeah I think I heard Christoffer Go talk about just that. I will try that tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. But do you think the derotated one is better that the original? I did struggle alot with dew last night. So the color was actually different on some of the images I derotated. I think that's why the derotated is a bit darker..
  7. Jupp second light. Yes I am pleased. But I strive to get it better. And I can't wait for the jupiter and saturn season again.
  8. So here is the derotated original size and upscaled. And the not derotated original size and upscaled.
  9. Not bad yours either. What scope ? And where do you live?
  10. Jupp I will deroratet and make it bigger later today.
  11. Mars tonight with better seeing. C11. Image not derotated. 90sec pr. channel.
  12. Thanks for the replays. After som nights of trying Saturn and Jupiter I gave up and moved over to Mars. I guess times up for the 2giants this season. Can't wait for Mars opposition
  13. My first image with the c11, neq6 and the baader barlow setup. I think it was close to 2x Image not derotated. 90sec pr. channel.
  14. Here are some printscreens of tonight's collimation on a star salmist straight up above. I feel it turned out pretty good. But the seeing was horrible so I still can't say if it's good or not. All Jupiter, Saturn and Mars was just a blur tonight..
  15. So what t eyepice do I need to get then? Like 5mm or something?
  16. Aha. Yeah I'm gonna do to tomorrow night:)
  17. I will try this guys. But did it look okay?
  18. Hi guys! I got my new C11 on neq6 the other day and I tried to collimate it today. I used my ZWO Asi 174mm with the baader vip 2x barlow and a flash light with aluminum foil with a small pinhole in it. I placed the led light about 30meters away from the scope. This is the result. Hope someone can tell me if it's right or not.
  19. I decided to go with the baader vip. https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p471_Baader-VIP-Barlow-2x---1-25----T2---modular-T2-connections.html
  20. Wow that sounds really great! Hmmm I think I will go with the baader then:) thank you. I will tell you what I decide on!
  21. Okay do one more thing before I pull the trigger. Shuld I go with the powermate 2.5x or the bader VIP 2x? Those two seems to be the best after alot of reading today and advices from you guys.
  22. I meant F20 sorry:p but thanks for great replays! My next worrie is if the 2.5x powermate actually amplifys by 2.5 than maby that will be to much for my sky conditions her in Norway. Hmm so many things to consider..
