    Lovely clear night last night but ruined by light pollution where I live. If it renains clearish tonight I will head into the Fens

      yep - a few clear hours here too. . Not enough for a full on imaging session - but enough to break the astrotrack out :-)

    Been in Shanghai for the last few weeks, cloudy skies and when clear heavy LP and contamination.

    In China for a couple of weeks...as usual grey and overcast but not too polluted.

    Visited them on Saturday to drop off a iOptron mount which needs some attention. Jane and Neil have a very nice set up, good lot of stock on display and a very friendly welcome too. Well worth a visit and from the mail order side there was no issues.

    Been on business travel in Latvia and Lithuania. These two states would make great places to spend a week doing AP, real dark sky opps...plus great food and beer and nice people.

      hehe,Latvia do have some terrific skies,thats for sure,i was able to see Panstarrs comet with naked eyes there! I do regret moving to UK sometimes lol.(i am latvian)

    Went out into the fens ast evening t try and get a moonrise shot....was clear in the right drection until I got the kit set up....how do clouds know when to rll in

    Been in China the last 2 weeks and one week to go. Internet is very iffy and the hotel we stayed in for our conference had the worst connection ever. The Chinese seem to think it is fast......not seen a clear sky either so no surprises on two fronts.

    Not been posting much recenlty as I have been busy getting into the new job and learning how to live again in the UK..also Mrs B had visa and still has visa problems so she is stuck in China. Off to China on Monday for 3 weeks, maybe something can get sorted out. Clear skies to all...

    Now have a place t live. 2 bed apartment, however no garden, that will have to wait until I buy something locally.

    Found a place to rent in Ely, now I can start to settle. Hoeever Mrs B has had her visa refused. Trying to get to the bottom of this.
