Why oh why is this country so cloudy....?!

We have the coriolis force causing circulation of winds from West to East (the famous Westerlies) over the Atlantic and we sit in the way so we get moisture laden winds. Then we sit at the junction of the Polar and Mid-Latitude climatic cells the boundry being where clouds form and we are bang on the boundry. Add in we are in a period of multi decadal warming of the Atlantic so more moisture in the air. We are a rock in the middle of the North Atlantic and odd that it may seem we get the weat...
