      I did venture out with the bins for half an hour, but the bright waxing moon was a bit of a spoiler!

      Yep great skies so far, but cloud on the way down from the north, so you may catch this first. Nice the moon hasn't risen yet!

      And it works - so much easier than pressing the keys on the computer, Just to many buttons to think about. I did discover how to turn the force feedback vibration off however ;)

      It was lovely, calm, clear and the lightest breeze. The sky got nicely dark and I could see a good swathe of the milky way. Tthough despite good transparancy the seeing was only average. Almost perfect might be a fairer assesment. Only problems; the mount decided to let me down with some nasty tracking issues and the watering system in the adjacent bowling green came on around 01:30hrs and gave the kit a heavy misting!
