There's some pics up in the Lounge, or my gallery. A 1982 10" F6+ with H Widley Optics. Needs some attention, but the optics should be good after a recoat - can't complain for £ 34 ;)

      Try the following:

"Come out here and have a look at the moon lady".

"Oh yes that is lovely man, I am really glad you bought that scope its was an excellent investment given the beautiful views we can now share"

      Haha ;)

Cheers Chris - ran smoothly for the first 7 x 300s subs, then the guiding dropped out and the next 13 were terrible. Think I started a bit closer to the meridian than I had realised!

Still got some data and tomorrow night may give another chance to catch some more subs ;)

  18. Stunning Sky & Milky Way Last Night ;)

Darn it! No data after 40 mins as I'd not cleared an acknowledgement in APT :( Clouds rolling in now, but perhaps a few subs can be captured

  23. Starting simple with M27, 30s subs and PHD2

      tingting44

what mount are you using? you can achieve 30s with a simple polar alignment, if your guiding, bang out a 5min sub and see how it looks :D

I'm getting too much noise on M27 and M92 - will have to try again dropping the iso down from 800 to 200 ish, though not sure if I will resolve more detail like this - the mount is the heq5 pro with Rowan belt mod, but PA a little suspect and needs some more tuning/drift alignment.
