    In 10 years of using scopes 6&8 reflectors and 4&5" refractors I have only ever seen the e and f stars a handful of times once in the 6" once in the 8" and a couple each for my 4&6" refractors. They do need very good seeing conditions to see.

    Yes would be easy just to roll out, I am getting there Doug shoulder is less sore now when I move it so its getting better just wish we could get a break in this terrible weather.

    Well done Doug I'm thinking of getting a dob 10 or 12 inch leaving set up and I can just wheel it out for quick sessions as my kit takes at least 40 mins then another half hour for the scope cool down.

    I'd love a Celestron C6r but I need a different mount for that my good friend has one and the views are excellent, as I love double and multiple stars this would split tighter ones less than 1°

    My legs and body are always warm I wear a neckwarmer and a hat I also have gloves which have good grip on them. It's just my feet.

    Just checked not got my size I'm a 7 so a 7.5 or 8 at a push but they only have 8-8.5 going to be too big even with thick socks on.

    You are right of course my Gelert walking boots are great why I'm walking but standing still the cold penetrates the boots really quickly. I come in take them off and as they warm up I'm in so much pain. Saying that even in the house my fingers and toes are always cold could be a circulation problem.

    That's the thing I am not flush with money I would like to pay the lowest I can to be honest.

    I am after some insulated boots (Snow) or similar. I have walking boots I use heat holders(2.3tog) socks but my feet still get cold so I am after something to keep them warm just for observing any recommendations please.

    I have 3 two f10s and a f9. 3 the F10s are I think classics a Tal 100rs and a Celestron C-102 my newer model if you can call it that is a Meade 127 emc which I have put a skywatcher dual speed focuser on.

    A great nights viewing there oh I so wish I had not sold my 8" I really was stupid I miss it for viewings like this maybe I will buy another or perhaps a bigger dob hmmm have to think about this.
