Mine died on Sunday dead as a dodo went and brought a good Tracer lipo so only need to charge every six months if not used plus so much smaller and lighter than my old 17amp power tank

Hi Jimmy I'd say your over powering the scope with the 8mm unless conditions are right hence the blurred images collimating is something you need to be certain with before attempting as it could make matters worse are you leaving the scope to cool around an hour , for the moon I'd say around a 15 mm would show plenty of detail possibly your 12.5 mm if seeing is good patience is the game with this hobby some nights are exceptional but generally good is all you can expect most of the time and bad on occasions

Hi Derek yes I'll let you know I was offered a secondhand LS50double stack but by the time I purchased the adapter to mount it on the Lunt 50 I was only saving around £150 so may as well buy the exact fit one and get the warranty the view through the Lunt is much brighter than all the others I've owned I'm really impressed.

The latest Frac to the collection been out for two hours this morning and only words stunning views . Double Stack on its way .
