  1. I know it's not good etiquette to comment on older posts here, but I am somewhat interested in a 22mm Nagler T4, and I wanted to know a couple of things... What type of telescope were you using? Were you using a coma corrector? Thanks!
  2. Explore Scientific 82° 30mm eye lens is recessed too much for use with glasses.
  3. The 22mm Nagler will need a coma corrector, (expensive), but the 22mm Vixen LVW can be used without one. The 22mm LVW will be pretty much sharp to the edge by itself, while the 22mm Nagler will not.
  4. The best low power eyepiece w/o a coma corrector, in a 10" f/4.7 is the 22mm Vixen / Orion LVW. Try looking for a used one on the used market. Cheers!
  5. Thanks, but I cannot see any Antares Speers Waler Series 3 on the site.
  6. Is there a link to see these newer designs? Thanks!
  7. Loved the eyepiece pics! I drooled for every pic I saw !!! Nice! ?
  8. Yep. Totally true! Not just an issue with eyeglass wearers. That mushroom top is a really weird fit for almost anybody, unless your face is massive and your eye socket can rest on such a HUGE design. The twist up eyecup is next to useless IMO. I owned one and had to remove it altogether to get a comfy feel.
  9. Had the 12x56's for barely a day or two. Shipped them back. Outer 50% was really bad. Not anywhere near as good as the 8x56's.
  10. Yes sir, I sure do! I find it just makes things easier when I have 2 " filters, and I do have the 2" 28mm, so I just keep everything all in 2 inch mode. Cheers!
  11. In the case and outside of the case. May 12 2017. EP list on the bottom as from left to right: 28mm ES 68, 18mm APM, 12.5mm Baader Morpheus, 9mm Baader Morpheus, 5mm Olivon 70 degree, (currently for sale), 2x GSO barlow screwed to 35mm Ext tube, (for slightly less mag). Cheers!
  12. Nice! Let me know what you think once you've given them a good workout! Cheers
  13. So far,, I am very impressed with the Celestron 8x42 Nature DX bins. Need to take them out under the stars tho. I've had them on the moon with excellent results, and in looking through them down the street in the day and night time, images are very sharp throughout around 70-75%. Eye relief is excellent. I keep the eyecups just a tad under all of the way out to see the entire field. My next set will be the 12x56 pair.
  14. Nice collections !!! Here's mine. I just bought them.
  15. From top left, clockwise: 35mm Extension tube with 2" DGM Optics NPB filter, 5.5mm Meade Series 5000 waterproof UWA, 20mm ES 68, 35mm Ext tube with one half of my 2" variable polarizer, (other half screws to my 2" twist lock adapters, then just turn the EP for the proper brightness), 28mm ES 68, 12.5mm Baader Morpheus, 9mm Baader Morpheus, 2" GSO ED barlow lens. Four of the 2" bottom dust caps were home made.
