Visit to Les Granges

In early September, I visited the observatories at Les Granges in southern France with Bob Ford.  The warm, clear skies seem a lifetime ago now the rain is hammering on the windows!

Just for info, in the other shed near the Dob is a TEC140/Atik 11000 on Avalon Linear.

Thanks for your kind comments all. I must say Les Granges is fantastic. We were well looked after, the sky's great and the kit is first rate.

Olly: glad you enjoyed the video. I understand Bob is planning his second visit so you'll have to bank up some sleep again! I'd love to come back again but am making up for some non working time in the summer, alas!

One very wet day and some clouds since the weekend but it's crystal clear again tonight. Further south they really did cop it though.
