Friday imaging artifact quiz

Nothing gets past this forum. Telephone lines are the culprit. Didn't think twice about them till I looked at the subs. Don't normally take images from the front of the house, main road, security, car lights, etc etc, but had a go this week. Took me a while to realise what the spikes were from. The slight vertical spikes seem to be artefacts from my refractor, and I suspect they are objective clips, but I haven't conclusively proved it.

You could cut an aperture mask small enough to cover up the objective clips and see if the spikes go away.  That would be a fairly good indicator that they were causing the effect, I guess.
