Heart and Soul at105mm

Recommended Posts

That's come out very nicely, there is a lot of fainter nebulosity showing to the left of the Heart & Soul.

Yes, I was looking to do quite a bit more than I got but some mist rolled over my site and put payed to that.

There was loads of gabbage in the air and surprised I got so much.

Looks great Mike. The 105mm has framed them nicely. I'm looking forward to trying my 150mm, although it might be a bit of a tight squeeze.

It was'nt framed as I would have liked, I got called away for a bite to eat and left it where it was instead of realigning.

In the end I just let it go and cropped a tad out of it.

If clouds allow will have another go some when.

Nice framing and subtle processing - NICE!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

The sky was pretty ugly that night so I took the Borg of the mount and quickly attached the 105/camera to a short

dovetail, no ballhead, so made framing a bit tricky.

I spent way to long trying to get the nebs and clusters where I wanted them but then got called away for while.

Had to leave the framing and just let the exposures roll.

Cropped off a fair bit on the left, really wanted the nebs up a bit and away from the edge.

Very nice. Quick and dirty???

Been playing with Pixinsight, no idea what I'm doing, trying to follow Harry's newbie vids.

Not enough data to really showoff the nebs, to me it was quick and dirty on both counts.

Just wish sky conditions would allow a lot more time to image,
