Hi

I was going to try my  sxvf m25 OSC camera to start with to avoid any filter problems , but will try the H35 to see if it can cover it

Need to give some thought on how to do RGB with the H35

Harry

CAn you use single filters? a pain I know but..

My review scope took a nasty physical hit at some point in its life and will have to go back. However, it is a bit of a beast in itself. I was thinking, size-wise, C11 - but it is a bit bigger than that! On Harry's big scope the Celestron looks small but it makes my 10 inch Meade SCT look like a finderscope.

Harry is the ideal person to get this moving.

Hi

Do to various reasons , not had time to try out scope and I am waiting for various bits , like a dew shield special adaptors etc

But I threw on my sxvf m25 tonight and did 5 60 secs subs ( Unguided)  and below is the result

no processing just debayered and stacked :) , left it like this to show the vignetting as well

For a first go I am pleased with the flatness of the field , not perfect but may be a bit of camera sag , but would most people would be happy with that though

The focuser is very fine -in theory great as the depth of is tiny , strangely I need to get used to this as when manually focusing I like to pop in and out of focus to

get perfect focus and large movements of the focuser are required for this --not a complaint just different

My main problem tonight was the primary mirror dewed up in 10mins flat , anybody got any idea on how to stop this ?

Harry
