137x 300s Lights (reduced by a couple of airplanes...) at ISO 1600
44x Flats
41x Bias
40x Darks

I love the colour on the brighter stars as well. There seems to be some artifacts around the dimmer stars though, but that might be compression artifacts?

could be, because it's a jpg - that really messes with the pic - normally I'd have a 1280x760 or so jpg but I've left this one for a larger version and it worked out better than previous smaller versions

Hi Russe, this latest version is looking really good, excellent job! The colours are much better balanced. The galaxy itself has a gorgeous tin foil shininess to it!

I guess some good can come from cloudy or moonlit nights after all!
