WA Double Cluster

Last Monday evening I was playing about with a new 50mm Prime focus lens on my Canon 350D. I took this 30 sec exposure of the Double Cluster (piggy back on my LX90) - I have cropped it and removed a wee bit of light pollution using photoshop, otherwise nothing else.

Do you think it is okay?

That is a beautifull wide field view of h&x, I would be hard put to remember seeing a better 50mm capture of the Sword Handle.

Lovely shot... never thought of snapping the double through anything but a scope. What did you do in photoshop to remove the the LP ?

Hi Vega,

Just did a wee bit tweaking using "Levels" - see the primer in the learning zone - it is pretty sinple really, just move the left slider to the bottom (left ) of the histogram curve and then the right slider a little towards the top (right) of the hustogram - play about a bit with this and the midlle slider, until you get the balance as good as you can. 5 Minutes work, tops.
