My domestic secretary rung me this morning to say a huge GIGANTIC box had been delivered...now i know i'm a newbie but i'm certain it's not the Baader collimator...........yup...my 250P DS has been swiftly and safely delivered.....whoo hooooooooooooo :D:D

Just need to sort myself a mount now (anyone thinking of lending one out????) and it looks like i'm going to build a Dob mount until i can get the dollar for the NEQ6 .....but at least i have my OTA...WOW WOW WOW....

I did the same thing bought a scope & had to wait a couple of months

to get a mount its was HELL .

Bringing my jigsaw home from work tomorrow Steve,already (obtained) some all thread and a few nuts and washers from the 'untidy' sparkies from site!! Might be a 8x4 sheet of plywood walking off site too pretty soon

Been looking for a few sales and there was actually a NEQ6 PRO for sale on here but as i don't actually have the dollar right this minute i will just have to bide my time

Before I got my mount I bungee corded my OTA to an old leather computer chair, the ones with wheels on it

I can empathise with your gigantic box and lack of patience, I bought a used 250PX WITH an EQ6 mount on Saturday and have been climbing the walls waiting for the sky to clear, had rain hail and snow over the past 2 nights

congratulations on the new scope.

you wont be disapointed, its a real beast. the ammount of light it gathers is unreal.

i'm quite confident it'll keep apperature feaver at bay for a while.
