Saturn with the storm 4th March 2011

It has been a while since I have been out imaging with the recent run of poor weather, but Thursday night offered an opportunity to image the head of the great storm on Saturn.

Seeing was mediocre and there was a freezing wind gusting at times brrrrrrrrr, but I am pleased with the result considering the conditions. Saturn was never still for a moment on the screen.

Should get another opportunity on Monday night.......

Good to see your beating the uk weather Peter, its just getting a joke lately isnt it, plz plz plz be calm on monday night, bet its windy. jolting around def affects the frames doesnt it. as you say a good result under less than ideal conditions
