Hi Barry, did you find the 350 already modified on ebay? I was just looing at them and thinking of buying but didn't expect to find a modified one. Do you know who does the mods? Which seller supplied the 350?

I had my 1000D modified by Andy at Astronomiser - clicky linky - He also sells modded camera to save you the hassle of getting one to him. He is well recommended on this site.

Just taken a look, very useful to see exactly what is involved:). I think I need a better understanding of IR/UV in an astronomy context:icon_confused: Time for some more reading methinks;)

im looking more into getting a cheap dslr to mod now, so if i did not want to use it for daytime photography id want to go with filter removal right?
