Hi

Not been out lately due to catching some Man Flu, I've recently aquired a Celestron Omni XLT 102ED refractor to be used on field trips, it's got the same fov which I get from my MN190 when used with a DSLR.

But anyway, here's a test shot with the scope of M35 & NGC 2158, taken with a Unmodded 500D, 24x 4mins subs, 15x flats & 15x Bias @ISO1600

Seems like the Man Flu has been prominent over the hollidays, mine started Xmas eve, only just recovering - just as the moon was allowing more RGB time as well :(.

Nice image, this framing of the two objects is really striking.

Colour and detail in NGC 2158 looks good.
