Still over a £100 cheaper than if you were to buy new, so if you can afford to buy an eyepiece of htis quality then I suppose the final price was worth the bidding. The saving here was more than the earlier ethos sold recently on Ebay.

Celeste I understand your surprise and I'm not sure if it is worth the extra. Part of the 'need' might well depend on the how expensive your scope is.
