Les Tilly Posted November 19, 2010 Share Posted November 19, 2010 I added in the darks I took and also I had 1 more SII sub to add I found the OIII added a ton of noise and not a lot of Nebula 3hours each Filter SII HA OIII 20 min subs 20 darks 20 bias no flats FLI16803FSQ106Paramount ME Calibrated in Maxim then moved into Photoshop cs2 once stretch moved into registar for star aligning back into cs2 for Hubble construction Thanks Les Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tim Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 I cant believe all the extra detail the S2 has brought to life Les, what a great shot You must be over the moon with that setup!If you are using Registar, you can very quickly put together an RGB picture using 3 grayscales by using the Merge to RGB tool.
