M 45 using Global rent a scope

It works...I took a picture of M45 using a TAK 150mm refractor in New Mexico...

Awesome expereience watching it point and shoot with no clouds...no dew...warm..etc

Had to be quick mind, its busy..

What sort of cost is involved Mark ?

You get a few free shots of a limited number of Messier objects to try it out on one scope...If you pay £10 you get a go on any of the scopes..and then I suppose its a few pound a picture..You can see for free the whole sky cameras which are fun I could pick out Pegasus well last night from the Spain camera.

I think with my image I can make out stars to mag 16.6 on a 600 second exposure..

It would not let me with the free option pick a galaxy etc, I have to get permission fromnt he wife to spend £10 for that.

It does make the process easy for a novice like me..
